At Raidiam, trust sits at the heart of everything we do. As the technology partner powering secure, interoperable data ecosystems around the world, our clients, regulators and communities must be confident that we meet and exceed the highest industry benchmarks for security and data protection.

That’s why we are delighted to announce two significant milestones:

  • We have undertaken the SOC 2 Type II audit and can now make our SOC2 Type II report available to prospective and existing clients. Achieving SOC2 Type II attestation represents a significant step forward in validating the strength and reliability of our internal controls.
  • We have successfully migrated from ISO/IEC 27001:2013 to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ensuring our Information Security Management System (ISMS) meets the latest international best practice standards.

Together, these certifications underscore Raidiam’s commitment to operational excellence, resilience and, above all, trust.

What SOC 2 Type II means for our partners

SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a globally recognized standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), designed to help organizations prove they manage customer data securely.

  • Type I vs Type II: A SOC 2 Type I report evaluates whether controls are appropriately designed at a single point in time. A SOC 2 Type II report, now attained by Raidiam, demonstrates through independent audit that those controls operate effectively over an extended period.
  • Why this matters: For our customers and partners, the report clearly shows that Raidiam’s approach to security, privacy, and operational rigour is not just carefully planned, but consistently delivered in practice.

  • The reassurance for ecosystems: In highly regulated environments like open data and open finance, dependability is essential. SOC 2 Type II signals our ability to deliver that assurance continuously.

Migrating to ISO/IEC 27001:2022

Raidiam has also taken the step of upgrading our ISMS from the 2013 version of ISO/IEC 27001 to the new 2022 standard.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the world’s leading framework for managing information security. The 2022 revision reflects the fast-moving cyber landscape, modernizing requirements around:

  • Cloud services security – emphasizing the importance of controls for cloud-native technologies.
  • Threat intelligence and proactive defence – going beyond reactive security into early-warning systems.
  • Supply chain and third-party risk management – essential in today’s interconnected business environment.
  • Operational resilience – ensuring continued robustness in the face of diverse digital threats.

With teams working across the business to complete this upgrade, Raidiam has futureproofed its security processes and shown how quickly and effectively we can embed global best practices.

Why these milestones matter

For partners and clients, these achievements are more than badges – they are trust signals. They reflect the underlying culture of an organisation and its lasting capability to deliver. At Raidiam:

  • These independent assessments prove our systems are resilient and compliant with international standards.
  • They provide confidence to clients and regulators that our platforms can safely power critical infrastructures and ecosystems.
  • They reinforce how Raidiam is not only a technology provider, but a partner in building scalable, interoperable, and secure digital economies.

Barry O’Donohoe, Raidiam’s Co-Founder and CEO, commented:

As Raidiam continues to support governments, financial institutions and ecosystems globally, these milestones reflect our relentless focus on security and assurance. SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 show we remain ahead of evolving risks and give our partners confidence to innovate, knowing their data is safeguarded.

Looking ahead

Security and interoperability remain fundamental to Raidiam’s mission. Achieving a SOC 2 Type II report and completing the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 migration are the latest in a series of commitments we make to our clients and the wider ecosystem.

As data ecosystems expand across finance, energy, healthcare, and beyond Raidiam will continue evolving its security capabilities and governance frameworks, ensuring we stay one step ahead of tomorrow’s challenges.
