Raidiam shortlisted in 2024 Digital Isle of Man Innovation Challenge - Raidiam

Raidiam is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted as a Data & AI finalist in the 2024 Digital Isle of Man Innovation Challenge.

The Innovation Challenge is a global competition where participants are invited to present ground-breaking solutions to address specific challenges and drive the growth of technical innovation in the Isle of Man. This year the focus has been on tackling key issues in three core sectors of FinTech, Cleantech and Artificial Intelligence.   

With submissions from an impressive pool of over 50 companies from around the globe, we are honoured that our solution of a Governmental Data Trust Framework stood out among the best, showcasing the capabilities of our trusted data sharing ecosystems.  

Our submission: Easy Access to Joined-up Government Services

Our entry deploys our established and proven technology in a unique proof of concept to provide easy access to joined-up government services. It demonstrates how our off-the-shelf solution can provide the Isle of Man’s government, citizens, businesses and natural environment with easy, secure access to their whole data-self and the significant advantages this provides. 

Using our Raidiam Connect platform, the Trust Framework establishes the rules and agreements for sharing data digitally between parties, while ensuring data protection, consent, and compliance with regulations.

It creates a central directory onto which ecosystem participants such as data providers and data receivers are onboarded and can discover each other – much like a private app store. It means that data can easily and securely be shared with authorised third parties, removing the need for repeated sharing of the same information. 

Benefits of the Raidiam Trust Framework

Implementing the Raidiam Trust Framework through Raidiam Connect will have numerous benefits for the Isle of Man:

• Government departments will have frictionless, secure digital access to the data they need. This in turn will create significant operational efficiencies and innovation opportunities, for example, in identity verification and fraud prevention. 
• Credentials are instantly, securely and irrefutably verified. There is a myriad of benefits for Government, citizens and the business community. These include accessing social benefits, tax, business and residential status and more. Automatic form filling can also be enabled, taking away pain points and removing the risk of errors being made.
• Manual inefficiencies and associated risks will be eliminated. Digital Isle of Man will become an easier country to thrive in, whilst maintaining – and enhancing – the highest possible standards.
