Global Search Bar
The Global Search Bar lets you jump straight to any Organisation, Authorisation Server, or Application (Software Statement) without hunting through multiple menus or pages. Results update in real-time, are grouped by entity type, and respect ecosystem-level and role-based permissions.
Find Global Search Bar
The search bar lives in the main header of every page.
| Environment | Who Sees the Bar | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Open Ecosystem | All authenticated users | Standard read permissions still apply; users will only see entities they can read. |
| Closed Ecosystem | Super Users and Data Administrators only | Regular users never see the bar and cannot call the /search endpoint. |
Run Search

Click the input (or press the / key to focus it).

Type what you're searching for, such as the name or ID.

Pause briefly—after approximetely 300 ms debounce, results appear.
Once you run the search, you will see:
| Grouped results | Sections headed Organisations, Authorisation Servers, Software Statements. |
| Per-item details | • Name • Identifier • Status badge (Active, Inactive, Withdrawn, Suspended) |
| Maximum 5 per group | If more than 5 matches exist, only the closest 5 are shown and a hint suggests refining your term. |
Search is case-insensitive and accept partial strings.

Filter Search Results by Status
Select Status inside the dropdown and pick Active, Inactive, Withdrawn, or Suspended.
Filter Search Results By Resource Type with Prefixes
Type one of the supported prefixes followed by : to limit the search:
