Build Wallet Ecosystem
Establish a Trust Registry of issuers, holders, and verifiers ensuring only trusted parties are able to issue, hold, and verify digital credentials.
Establish trust, identify participants, assign roles, and enable metadata sharing using PKI/X.509 certificates or OpenID Federation.

Add Roles
Define Roles for Organisations. Roles control what rights and permissions Organisations can have, such as ability to register certain APIs, scopes their applications can request, and more.
For example, you can create roles for:
-
Credential Issuer
-
Credential Verifier
-
Wallet Provider / Data Holder
Go more granular, dividing issuers with roles for mobile driving license (mDL) issuance, academic diplomas issuance, and more.
If needed, learn more about Roles in Raidiam Connect.
Choose Trust Anchor
Decide whether the trust between application should be established using:
-
OpenID Federation can model wallet ecosystems by representing issuers, verifiers, and wallet providers in a trust chain with rich metadata.
-
Public Key Infrastructure with X.509 Certificates
PKI/X.509 establishes wallet ecosystem trust by chaining issuers, verifiers, and wallet providers to a common trusted root.
Onboard Organisations
-
Add Organisations to participate in the Wallet Ecosystem.
-
Delegate Organisation Administration further, enabling Organisation Administrators to register their technical resources like applications or servers.
Once the organizations are onboarded and they register the technical resources like apps, APIs, or servers, Raidiam Connect becomes a governance-backed Trust Registry for your Wallet Ecosystem.
